Credits, Billing & Refunds
Who this policy covers. This Policy governs credits and payments for PorchTunes, which is operated by Martin Services. It applies only to PorchTunes and does not govern another product, company, or organization.
1. Credits
Credits are account-based digital entitlements used for eligible PorchTunes features. They are not currency, are not redeemable for cash, have no value outside PorchTunes, and may not be sold, transferred, exchanged, pooled, shared, or resold except where law requires or Martin Services gives written permission.
The number of credits required for a feature is shown before submission. PorchTunes may change the cost of future requests, package contents, plan limits, or available features, but a later change does not alter a completed purchase. Unused credits do not expire while the account remains active and in good standing. Promotional, subscription-granted, and purchased credits may be tracked separately and are consumed in the order displayed or described when offered.
Video credits
Video features use credits for each step you approve: song analysis and story, character portraits, scene pictures, scene videos, and lip sync. The credits for each step are shown before you approve and are charged when the step starts. If several steps are approved together and you do not have enough credits for all of them, none of them start and nothing is charged. A step that ends without producing its result is refunded automatically; a step that produced its picture, video, or result is not refunded because you chose not to use it.
2. Prices, checkout, and delivery
Authoritative prices, currency, credit quantities, and any tax are displayed in PorchTunes and on the hosted checkout page immediately before payment. You authorize the displayed charge when you submit payment. Payment card details are entered directly on the hosted checkout page; Martin Services keeps transaction identifiers and purchase records needed to fulfill and support the purchase but does not intentionally receive or store your full card number or security code.
Credits are delivered only after the payment processor confirms successful payment to PorchTunes. Returning to the app is not proof of fulfillment. Purchase history and the displayed balance show whether credits were added. If a confirmed purchase does not appear within a few minutes, use Support.
3. Monthly subscriptions
PorchTunes offers monthly subscription plans. Each plan's price and the number of credits it includes each month are shown in PorchTunes and on the hosted checkout page before you subscribe. An account can hold one plan at a time. A recurring charge is authorized only when you complete a subscription checkout; accepting this Policy or buying a one-time credit pack does not start a subscription.
Renewals and credits. Your plan renews automatically each month on the same billing date until you cancel. The plan's monthly credits are added after the payment processor confirms each successful payment, including the first one. If a renewal payment fails, no credits are added for that period.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from Account & Settings in PorchTunes. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; your plan stays active until then. Cancelling does not by itself refund the current period or remove credits already added to your account.
Changing plans. An upgrade takes effect immediately. The prorated price difference for the rest of the current period is charged to your saved payment method right away, and once that payment succeeds you receive the difference in monthly credits between the two plans for the remaining part of the period, rounded down. A downgrade takes effect at your next renewal; the current period is not prorated or refunded, and the new plan's credits begin with that renewal.
Extra credit packs. While your plan is active you can buy one-time extra credit packs offered for your plan. They are charged once, do not renew, and are delivered the same way as other purchases.
Each subscription checkout, plan change, and extra credit pack purchase records your acceptance of the current version of this Policy and the related terms. If a subscription payment is refunded or disputed, the credits that payment added are reversed in proportion to the amount refunded or disputed, as described in section 5.
4. Refund standard
Except where law requires otherwise, purchases of credits and immediately delivered digital features are final and non-refundable. Martin Services may provide a refund, replacement credit, extension, or courtesy adjustment after reviewing a verified technical failure, duplicate charge, unauthorized charge, or other issue that warrants correction. An Output that is usable but does not match a user's subjective preference is not by itself a service failure or a basis for refund.
If a generation fails because of a verified PorchTunes technical error and no usable Output is delivered, the service normally restores the associated credit automatically. If that restoration does not appear, contact Support. A credit restoration is not required when a request is blocked, rejected, limited, or removed because it violates law, provider restrictions, safety controls, the Terms, or the Acceptable Use & AI Music Safety Policy.
5. Refunds, disputes, and negative balances
When a payment is refunded or a dispute is opened or lost, PorchTunes reverses the corresponding purchased or subscription-granted credits that remain available. If some or all of those credits were already spent, the unrecovered amount may create a real negative credit balance. Martin Services does not silently erase that balance, invent credits to cover it, or automatically charge your card again.
A negative balance blocks further credit-consuming generations and additional credit or subscription purchases, including new subscriptions, plan upgrades, and extra credit packs, until Martin Services reviews and resolves it. It does not by itself delete your account, songs, lyrics, artwork, or Library. If a dispute is later decided in Martin Services' favor, credits previously reversed for that dispute are restored. Every reversal and manual resolution is recorded for audit and protected against duplicate processing.
Please contact Support before initiating a chargeback so the transaction can be investigated. This request does not limit any right you have under applicable law. Martin Services may restrict transactions, deny promotions, suspend credits, or limit an account when it reasonably suspects fraud, unauthorized payment use, bad-faith chargeback abuse, account sharing, multiple-account evasion, or another policy violation.
6. Taxes
Sales tax is added on top of the listed subscription or credit-pack price where PorchTunes is registered to collect it, currently North Carolina. Checkout calculates any applicable tax from your billing address and shows the tax and total before you pay. You remain responsible for taxes, duties, royalties, withholding, reporting, or other obligations that apply to your own publication, licensing, distribution, or monetization of Output, except taxes based on Martin Services' net income.
7. Account closure and service discontinuation
Stopping use of PorchTunes does not convert credits to cash. Account deletion and any treatment of unused purchased credits are subject to applicable law and the disclosures shown before deletion. If Martin Services permanently discontinues the paid credit service, it may provide a reasonable wind-down period to use remaining credits or another remedy required by law. Payment, ledger, consent, refund, dispute, security, tax, and fraud-prevention records may be retained when legally or operationally necessary even after an account closes.
8. Billing help
Include the email on your PorchTunes account, the purchase ID shown in purchase history, the approximate date, and what happened. Never send a card number, security code, password, or MFA code. Use the PorchTunes Support page.
Change history
Each version is dated. Your acceptance records the version you accepted, and earlier versions remain on file.
